Duane is a qualified gold and silversmith with over 35 years’ experience, having completed a four year apprenticeship with House of Design and training under the instruction of craftsmen from the famous Silversmithing Workshops of T Gaunt & Co. and JW Steeth & Son.

We have worked with many important and historic items in Trophies, Presentations and awards, ecclesiastical and decorative arts and include domestic and fine dining. We have been successfully challenged with many unusual requests.

Both our showroom and production facility are under the one roof. At Heritage Silverware & Restoration we maintain the traditional techniques for full or sympathetic restoration of your treasure.

We have studied in Australia and traveled throughout Europe, gathering a significant understanding of manufacturing techniques and have restored many beautiful pieces over the years. During our travels we have brought back many fabulous items to include in our showroom.

So whether it be Silver Plate, Sterling Silver, Old Sheffield Plate, Close Plate, Brass, Copper, Spelter, Pewter, old or new, we are able to give it a full or a sympathetic restoration. We are sympathetic to the importance of the patina, any markings, etchings or engravings and protect these during all works.
